When you contact or text CPA PC, we may collect personally identifiable information such as your name, your mobile phone number, your email address, the content of your messages, and the date and time of each message. This website does not use analytics or tracking scripts.

If you use the contact form on this website, we receive what you type into it (your name, email address, phone number, and message), whether you checked the optional text message consent box, and the date, time, and IP address of your submission. The form is delivered to our office by email through the automation system run by Cybertek Systems.

How we use your information

We use this information only to communicate with you about the services you have asked about or are receiving from CPA PC, such as updates, account notifications, reminders, and event notifications.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as needed to deliver your messages. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

No phone/mobile number information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages are delivered through the business phone system operated for CPA PC by Cybertek Systems, a managed IT services provider in Winner, South Dakota, and its telecommunications carrier. These service providers handle messages only to deliver them and keep them secure. They do not use your information for their own marketing.

Messages are kept only as long as needed to serve you or as the law requires. We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect them.

Program description

CPA PC, the business name of Victor Schmitz CPA, PC (Burke, South Dakota), uses text messaging to send customer care messages, such as SMS updates, account notifications, reminders, and event notifications. These are not marketing or promotional messages. Affiliate marketing is not part of this program, and we do not collect or sell consumer information for leads.

How you opt in

Customers opt in to text messages from CPA PC by visiting our website contact form at https://www.cpapc.net/contact, entering their phone number, and selecting the checkbox to consent to receiving text messages at that phone number, and agreeing to our Privacy Policy. The checkbox is optional and is not checked by default. Consent to text messages is not a condition of receiving our services. CPA PC does not send text messages to anyone who has not given consent.

After you opt in, you receive this confirmation: "CPA PC: Thank you for opting into SMS updates, account notifications, reminders, and event notifications. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency may vary. Msg & Data rates may apply. To opt out at any time reply STOP."
